THREE National Police officers ended up in hospital on Saturday night after being called in to deal with an incident on Benidorm’s Calle Mallorca – in the heart of the resort’s commonly called Brit Zone.
The officers suffered head injuries and broken bones, but there are many contradictory reports on what actually happened.
Social media have been reporting incidents of vicious drug-fuelled bouncers being ‘heavy-handed’ with holidaymakers in Benidorm.
To date, police have never taken any action, often denying that there even is a problem, despite many witnesses – possibly until now.
