The government has approved a €12 billion strategic plan to turn Spain into a ‘reference country’ for the design and manufacture of chips for the electronics industry.
Deputy PM Nadia Calviño said the investment would transform the industry in this country and ‘contribute to the independence of Spain and the European Union in technology’.
