Following nearly two weeks of heavy rain and the arrival of snow melt, the longest river entirely within Spain, the Ebro, burst its banks in a number of areas this week.
Thousands of hectares of land have been flooded, along with towns such as Tudela in Navarra where water more than a metre deep covered the streets on Sunday.
Two people have died in the region as a consequence of the downpours.
