A GPS tracking collar has been successfully fitted to another Iberian brown bear living in the mountains of Castilla y León region.
A spokesman for the regional environment department explained that the 193-kilo male was sedated after he had been captured using a mobile ‘trailer trap’, which does not injure the animal in any way.
