SPAIN’S tourism trade appears healthier than ever after figures from the first six months of 2018 show 37 million people visited the country on holiday. The figure is 1.8% higher than the report for the first half of 2017. In June along, 8.5 million tourists visited Spain – 1.3% more than in June last year. Once again the UK is the main market for Spanish holidays and despite a 2% drop in comparison to 2017, British tourist still add up to 8.4 million so far this year.
