VAT (IVA) on natural gas will be reduced from 21% to 5% from October, the government announced following Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting.
The measure, which will be being in place ‘at least until December 31’, will save consumers €210 million, according to minister for ecological transition Teresa Ribera.
