The double-jab vaccination campaign got underway in the Valencia region on Monday (October 16).
Health councillor Marciano Gómez said they are aiming to give shots to protect against flu and Covid-19 to more than 1.3 million people.
Smokers will be offered the flu jab as they are more likely to suffer complications from the virus, he noted.
