FOLLOWING a week of numerous cancellations affecting thousands of passengers on the C-1 Málaga-Fuengirola Cercanías line, Renfe on Friday announced it was bringing in four drivers from other provinces to reinforce the local staff and put an end to the problem.
Julián Fernández Muriana, Renfe’s head of Cercanías in Andalucía, said that with the addition of the new drivers this week he expected no more cancellations.
