OVER 50 people were injured, three seriously, when a local commuter train ran into the buffers as it arrived at a station in Barcelona on Friday morning.
Over 70 people were on board the Renfe service from Tarragona as it pulled into Platform 11 of Estación de Francia, near the World Trade Centre, at about 7.15am.
Twelve of the 56 injured were hospitalised following the incident.
