DUE to the ongoing roadworks on the main Avenida Mediterraneo and adjoining streets in Benidorm, traffic flow changed last Monday morning, catching many drivers unaware.
Calle Esperanto, running in front of the Hotel Madeira Centro was suddenly blocked and all vehicles – cars, taxis, delivery vans and even buses had to go straight over the newly resurfaced and cobbled Plaza Triangular – which has become a pedestrianised zone.
