ONDARA council has become the first one in the Marina Alta to ban the ‘bou embolat’ and ‘bou encaixonat’ elements of their Sant Jaume fiestas following an online survey of residents.
The left-wing council along with the town’s bull events comision issued a statement saying that the two practices did not respect the bulls and to that end they will no longer be included in the fiesta programme.
