THOUSANDS of motorists using the CV-70 Benidorm-La Nucía road and La Nucía council are hitting out at the regional government for the overnight speed limit reduction from 50kmph to 70kmph.
‘Unwanted, unnecessary and unwarned’ were protest from all parties since the new speed limit signs ‘suddenly’ appeared on Monday – obviously changed overnight without warning.
Regular users have only realised due to social media warnings – admittedly they have not paid attention to the signs changed on a road they use daily with a speed limit of 70kmph.
how do you get a reduction from 50kmph to 70kmph. thought 70 was faster, 50kmph is to fast its like a race track,
