Snow has reached coastal areas in eastern Spain as freezing air arrives from the north.
The situation has been complicated by the Mediterranean storm Juliette, which has brought strong winds and huge waves to the Balearic Islands, as well as deep snow to Mallorca.
The photo from Barcelona city hall shows the white stuff on Tibidabo mountain, which stands behind the city.
