The government has approved a modification to regulations which requires all new electronic devices to be equipped with a USB Type-C charging port, the minister for digital transformation, José Luis Escrivá announced.
The decision transposes an EU Directive, approved in October 2022, as part of a broader effort to reduce e-waste and empower consumers to make more sustainable choices.
