A FORECAST for severe weather has been launched by state weather agency (AEMET) for south-east Spain, starting this evening (Friday).
An orange warning is in place for Saturday for sea storms with waves reaching up to four metres, along with a yellow warning for heavy downpours and winds of up to 80km/h.
Up to 150 litres of rainfall per square metre of rainfall could be recorded from Saturday afternoon until Monday, they noted.
