A resident of Santa Pola has been thanked by the Guardia Civil and the town hall for reporting that she had discovered three Roman amphorae while carrying out a spring clean in her home.
Whilst in the basement, she had found three large ceramic items that she thought might be of some historical value, noted a Guardia Civil spokesman.
