Digital radiology rooms with a camera and artificial intelligence (AI) to personalise tests on patients and minimise their exposure to radiation have been set up at seven public hospitals in the Valencia region.
Regional health councillor Marciano Gómez said: “In general terms, thanks to rooms like these the dose of radiation in patients is reduced by approximately half.”
