A total of 551,000 more people are making social security payments in Spain than at the same time last year, the government announced on Tuesday.
The number of contributors stood at 20,954,785 at the end of February, which is a record amount, they stated.
And non-Spaniards are filling vacancies at a faster rate than native workers.
