Princess Leonor swore loyalty to the Constitution on Tuesday and became the first female heir to the Spanish throne in 190 years.
The oath ceremony was on the occasion of her 18th birthday.
The princess of Asturias had finished her education in Wales, spending two years at UWC Atlantic College in Llantwit Major, near Cardiff.
