FULL details of the regional government’s plan to scrap copayment for prescription charges for pensioners and the disabled from January 1 were announced on Tuesday.
Vice-president Mónica Oltra said 910,000 people who receive social security pensions of below €18,000 per annum will no longer have to contribute towards the cost of medication prescribed by public health system doctors.
