The Guardia Civil prevented a possible ‘catastrophe’ and the closing of airspace at Alicante-Elche airport when they quickly located a person who was flying a drone at the site.
A force spokesman explained that a commercial airline pilot alerted air traffic control that he had spotted the flying robot.
