THE parents of a three-month old baby who died last Thursday showing signs of maltreatment and malnutrition have been ordered to be held in custody without bail by a Málaga court.
The father had taken the child to the A&E unit at the city’s Hospital Materno Infantil that morning, but the infant was already dead when he arrived. The mother later told police she was at work as the drama unfolded.
