TWENTY-year-old leukaemia patient Pablo Ráez, whose open letter on Facebook calling for bone marrow donors went viral and sparked a huge boost in donations in Málaga province, has found a matching donor, he announced on his Facebook page this Monday.
“I have a donor,” began his post, in which he went on to describe the hard road he still has ahead, and to urge people to continue signing up as donors in the hope of helping other people like him. Within an hour, more than 3,000 messages of support and congratulations flowed into the ‘comments’ section of his post.
