WORK has started to eliminate one of the worst flooding blackspots in Benidorm. A large storm drain is being installed on locally known ‘Number One’ curve (a reference to a well-known discotheque that used to be on that section) joining Avenidas Alfonso Puchades and Comunidad Valenciana.
Work has forced the closure of at least two lanes along the avenues this week and next.
