Scheduled surgical operations are continuing over the summer despite the pressure on emergency care at Torrevieja hospital, the regional health service announced.
Not shutting down the operating theatres and maintaining this high level of activity at such a busy time has been possible thanks to the coordinated work of the professional teams, according to surgical block medical coordinator Fernando Leone.
