A nationwide taxi strike will take place in Spain tomorrow (Tuesday, May 30) and drivers in the majority of resorts – including Benidorm drivers and taxi owners from Elche at the Alicante-Elche airport – will be joining the industrial action in protest against private taxi applications Uber and Cabify.
In Benidorm, taxis will only be providing emergency services to medical centres and for those with mobility problems.
