A man and a woman have been arrested in Elche on suspicion of providing German motor vehicles with fake roadworthiness certificates for that country’s equivalent of the UK MOT or Spanish ITV.
The parking business near Alicante-Elche airport offered to renew certificates for customers while they were away.
