The fire service was called to carry out a complicated rescue mission in the early hours of Saturday morning at Benidorm’s Mirador vantage point at the top of the Old Town.
The alarm was raised shortly before midnight after witnesses saw a man falling over the edge of the balustrade to the rocks below.
A system of ropes was set up and firefighters made a controlled descent.
