Madrid’s Adolfo Suarez (Barajas) airport had to close all take-offs for a hour today due to heavy snow. Only landings were authorised with two runaway operative. Conditions have slightly improved but air traffic control now has to handle the 85 take-offs that had to be postponed earlier today.
