A VIDEO that was brought to the attention of the Guardia Civil in Mijas allowed officers to free a kidnap victim who had suffered abusive treatment during his 15 hours in captivity.
Officers were tipped off when someone went to the Guardia Civil station and reported they had received a video via a social network that showed a young man with multiple wounds on his head being assaulted.
Watching the video, officers recognised the assailant and rushed to his home in the El Juncal zone in case the victim was still there.
