The fleet of buses serving Elche now has eight new fully electric vehicles, which city hall acquired with €3.9 million from the EU Next Generation recovery fund.
The service now has 63 vehicles with an average age of five years, of which about 60% are electric or hybrids, with the aim of bringing this up to 80% by 2030.
