AS the UK officially ceases to be a member of the EU at midnight tomorrow (Friday), the authorities have called upon Britons living in Spain to remain calm as very little will change during the transition period that ends on December 31.
The British Embassy and the consulate in Alicante have issued statements regarding the situation for the remainder of 2020. The official statements shatter scaremongering tales within the expat community regarding the need to carry out certain procedures or obtain documentation that will not yet be required.
