FRIGILIANA has come third in a contest to find Spain’s ‘Seven Rural Wonders’, organised by the travel website Top Rural. The award was accepted by the town’s mayor José Antonio González at a ceremony in Madrid last Thursday.
He declared himself to be “very satisfied” with the result and noted that Frigiliana has been a member of the Association of the Most Beautiful Towns of Spain for two years, a select club to which only 43 other municipalities belong.
