Orihuela town hall has received spare parts to repair litter bins and communal containers for domestic waste and recycling.
The council expects to be able to fix more than 100 municipally-owned side-loading containers.
Councillor for waste collection Rocío Ortuño said repairs will start ‘in the coming days’.
