TORREMOLINOS town hall is going to have to pay nearly €500,000 to a former firefighter in the town who won a lawsuit against the municipality over workplace harassment, said local officials last week.
The case dates to 2003, when the firefighter, who had been granted a permanent disability for depression, filed a demand for compensation from the town hall, which he said had caused his condition through its “aggressive, oppressive and persecutory” treatment of him.
