A couple who allegedly pocketed more than €140,000 by selling an elderly couple’s jewellery and valuables have been arrested by the National Police in Elche.
The female suspect worked for the victims as a housekeeper and with her boyfriend sold her clients possessions to shops that buy and sell gold in Elche and Murcia, according to a spokesman for the force.
