IT WAS a record-breaking Easter weekend on the Costa Blanca as temperatures leaped into the high 20s and hotels reported 100%occupancy rates.
Over the four-day period, many hotels in Benidorm and Torrevieja were fully booked and those in inland areas averaged an 85% occupancy rate, due in the main to many people from the region’s three provinces seeking rural retreats for their Easter holidays.
