For the first time since the outbreak of coronavirus began, Valencia regional authorities have released a report on the number of cases and deaths due to Covid-19 in each muncipality in the region. As expected the largest figures are found in three provincial capitals (Valencia, Alicante and Castellón), in large towns and municipalities with care homes where outbreaks have been detected. Twenty muncipalities account for half the number of deaths in the region (a total of 1,418 until Thursday). Costa Blanca News will publish a detailed list next Friday (June 5).
