Local police in Alfaz del Pi have started fining procedures against four individuals and two companies for fly tipping, the town hall announced on Tuesday.
A council spokeswoman said they had issued the fines in just two days of a campaign which is targeting the blight.
She noted that the departments for cleaning, the environment, citizens’ security and technical services are working together to stamp out an anti-social practice.
