PRACTICALLY all Costa towns are hosting special events and rallies to commemorate International Women’s Day today – Friday March 8.
Some councils have organised events throughout this week and others will focus their efforts on today and this coming weekend. The majority of towns will be hosting a rally at midday around town halls and main squares. In some schools, teachers are having the whole day off.
