THE government’s sub-delegate for Málaga, Miguel Briones, has been holding meetings with town halls and emergency services along the Costa del Sol, to discuss increased security and anti-terrorism measures following the attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils last month.
The meetings are taking place at the request of the Interior Ministry and the government’s cross-party anti-terrorism working group, in order to update and strengthen measures that have been in place since 2015, when Spain’s terror alert was raised to level four.
