MÁLAGA was hit by its first major rainstorm of the season last weekend, causing flooding and damage in some areas but bringing a welcome boost to the province’s flagging reservoirs.
The wet weekend saw the equivalent of more than a third of 2015’s total rainfall soak the province – with the weather also bringing flooding, fallen trees, landslides and even a small whirlwind in Benalmádena.
