THE people of Málaga province are turning out in force in answer to a call by a 20-year-old Marbella man with leukaemia, whose open letter on Facebook urging people to donate bone marrow went viral (CDSN last week).
Since Pablo Ráez posted his letter on August 21 – and it sped across the internet and was covered in local and national media – the province’s Blood Transfusion Centre has seen a surge of people donating blood and registering as marrow donors.
