RESIDENTS affected by Ronda town hall’s recently confirmed traffic restrictions over the Puente Nuevo bridge have revealed plans for a major protest on Christmas Eve. Opposition political parties at the town hall have said they will join the protest.
In a post on social media a group formed by affected residents – the Plataforma Ciudadana de Afectados por el Corte de Puente Nuevo de Ronda – confirmed the action, with the protest to depart from the Alameda del Tajo area at 12pm on December 24, before heading along Calle Virgen de la Paz and ending at Plaza España at 1pm, where a speech will be made.
