SINCE its reopening to the public on March 28, 2015, 600,000 people have accepted the invitation to walk the Caminto del Rey, the footpath which clings to cliffs high above a gorge at El Chorro, between Ardales, Álora and Antequera.
Figures released to mark the attraction’s second anniversary show that 69% of visitors have been from outside Spain, with British nationals accounting for almost a fifth of them.
Tickets (€10) for the summer months went on sale this week on the attraction’s website, www.caminitodelrey.info.
