A FIRE in a mountain ravine in Calpe forced the closure of the N-332 road and led to the evacuation of 10 chalets on Monday.
Flames devoured five hectares of pine trees, undergrowth and almond and olive crops.
The blaze broke out at 16.00 in Canuta ravine, which leads down to Puerto Blanco.
