THE British Consulate has teamed up with the Diputación de Málaga to help roll out a provincial-government programme aimed at improving the English-language skills of people working in the tourism industry, as well as local schoolchildren.
The British vice-consul in Málaga, Rosslyn Crotty, last week joined provincial president Elías Bendodo at the official presentation of the scheme, which also has the collaboration of business and cultural institutions including Cajamar bank, the Carmen Thyssen, Pompidou and Picasso Birthplace museums in Málaga, and the Bioparc zoo in Fuengirola, among others.
