A QUICK-THINKING mum barricaded herself and two terrified children inside her bedroom as thugs smashed their way into her Costa Blanca home.
The mother and her “very young” daughter and son – the boy was still sleeping in a cot – escaped unhurt despite the raiders trying to force their way into the bedroom. She was able to raise the alarm and police and friends raced to their aid.
