AN INFERNO on Dénia’s busiest pedestrian street engulfed three blocks and forced over 50 residents out onto the street as ‘balls of fire’ cascaded around them.
In a chilling reminder of London’s Grenfell Tower disaster, the insulation on the walls of a block adjoining the Marqués de Campo boulevard and the C/ Sandunga went up in flames.
