Huge cigarette butts, drink cans, plastic containers, bottle tops and ice cream sticks have been seen on Benidorm’s Poniente beach this week – but fear not, it’s only an awareness campaign.
Benidorm town hall, together with RA Benidorm, the company that hires out the sun loungers have embarked on a summer campaign “ Don’t forget ALL your belongings”.
The purpose is to remind holidaymakers to take all their possessions when leaving at the end of the day – including their rubbish!
